A.P Maersk is looking for a candidate to take up the role of CX Agent – Manifest Coordinator in Douala Cameroon. The position holder is going to be Responsible for owning and managing the customer experience of his/her customers by proactively identifying issues & building relationships to the mutual benefit of the customer and Maersk Line.
He/She will also have to manage the end-to-end shipment process in compliance with all company procedures and being the owner of all customer issues, facilitating their timely and effective resolution by engaging relevant internal stakeholders.

Main responsibilities
Coordinating and managing the shipment manifest and ensuring that the manifest accurately reflects the contents of each shipment.
Be the primary point of contact for own customers and act as an advocate for the Customers, internally within Maersk Line.
Actively build strong relationships with customers and gain and understanding of their business, service needs, drivers and desires.
Ensure smooth execution of the end-to-end shipment life-cycle, by working closely with the customer as well as internal stakeholders.
Proactively track shipments and notify customers of relevant deviations from the transport plan, including potential solutions or alternatives.
Be fully responsible for customer satisfaction across Maersk product offering (own customers).
In general, actively seek out and act on continuous improvement opportunities both in relation to customers and internal / external stakeholders
Key requirements:
2 years of experience in Manifest and Logistics.
Experience in customer service and Training in Customs’ management are an advantage.
Bachelor degree in logistics is an advantage.
Fluency in French and English is a Must.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to look beyond the obvious and identify creative solutions.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Energetic, Well-organized, Self- Initiated and good coordination skill.
Good Process understanding & digital proficiency.
