HEAD OF DEPARTMENT HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATION, CHEF DU DEPARTEMENT ADMINISTRATION DU PERSONNEL, Nyété-Kribi, AMSCO

Role Responsibilities/ Responsabilités du rôle

This position reports directly to the Director of Human Resources.

RESPONSALITIES:

Management of day-to-day personnel administration

Organise and supervise the control of acts, decentralised services relating in particular to recruitment, change of function, change of team, suspension of contract, leave, absences, sanctions, change of family situation, change of classification;

Supervising document checks on the administrative management of staff;

Validate the current personnel management acts established in the sectors;

Consolidate the monthly management charts for staff and jobs, malfunctions, working conditions and safety at work in the sectors.

Drawing up acts relating to personnel administration;

Ensuring the updating of the employer’s register and the computerised personnel file;

Ensuring the preparation and implementation of the leave schedule by the heads of personnel administration departments;

In relation with the HSE, ensure the specific monitoring of working conditions and safety.

Monitoring social dialogue

Plan meetings of staff representatives in all departments and ensure the drafting of minutes and reports;

Monitoring the application in the sectors of the calendar of monthly meetings between the management and the staff representatives;

Keeping the action plan and the application in the sectors of the resolutions of the meetings between management and staff representatives;

Ensure administrative formalities for dismissals and retirements (drafting of letters, return of materials and others);

Ensure the control of variable pay elements before validation (bonuses and overtime);

Coordinating the elections of the Staff Representatives.

Management

Supervise the activities of the Heads of HR Administration and the HRBPs reporting to them;

Set objectives and ensure their evaluation;

Ensure their development and that of their team members.

Discipline Management

Ensuring the scheduling and holding of Disciplinary Boards in conjunction with the HRD;

Ensure compliance with the internal regulations (working hours, safety at work);

Assist operational management in the application of our company’s disciplinary rules;

Pre-litigation management

Ensure relations with the labour inspectorate in the context of conciliations/and keep the said files up to date;

Ensure the drafting, in collaboration with the Legal and Compliance departments, of settlement protocols and their follow-up before the labour inspectorate;

Safety and Security

Participate in raising awareness of the company’s safety and security rules;

Ensure compliance with the company’s internal policies (Human Rights, Environment, Corporate Social Responsibility, Health and Safety at Work);

Specific technical activities

Have a solid knowledge of Labour and Social Security Law and Human Resources Management;

Have a good knowledge of micro-computing;

Have a good command of administrative procedures in the field of HRM;

Have a perfect command of management software and knowledge of HRIS;

Have a good knowledge of payroll programs (SAGE, SAP);

Have a perfect command of written and oral expression;

Have a good command of the English language.and updating organisation charts.

REQUIREMENTS:

Degree: BAC + 4 in Private Law or a BAC + 5 in Human Resources Management;

Good knowledge of French labor law in order to rely on it to put in place good practices where a legal vacuum is observed in Cameroon

Be at least 35 years old;

Proven record in management of a team of at least 5 staffs

At least 10 years of professional experience in Human Resources, including 5 years in a management or HR project management position;

Experience  in an industry , an experience in Agribusiness sector is a plus.
