Overview:
Neero is revolutionizing the way people in Central Africa manage their finances with our groundbreaking mobile app. Based in Douala, Cameroon, we are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Product Marketing Manager with a track record of driving growth in startup environments to join our team and lead our product marketing efforts. The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention for our mobile app. This role requires strong skills in market analysis, market research, benchmarking, competition analysis, data analysis, and Excel, as well as expertise in social media marketing and customer acquisition tactics.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement a comprehensive product marketing strategy to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention for our mobile app in the local market
– Conduct market analysis, market research, benchmarking, and competition analysis to understand customer needs and preferences, and use this knowledge to inform product development and marketing efforts
– Utilize data analysis and Excel to track and measure marketing performance and identify areas for optimization and improvement
– Lead the development and execution of social media marketing campaigns to drive user acquisition and engagement
– Develop and implement customer acquisition strategies across offline and online channels
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product management and sales to align marketing efforts with business goals
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and continuously evolve the marketing strategy
– Bring a fun and positive attitude to the team and company culture
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field
– 5+ years of experience in product marketing, with a strong focus on startup growth
– Proven track record of developing and executing effective marketing strategies in startup environments
– Strong skills in market analysis, market research, benchmarking, competition analysis, data analysis, and Excel
– Experience building a brand from scratch is a plus
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
– Fluency in English and French is preferred
