Role Responsibilities/ Responsabilités du rôle

We are a production facility in Cameroun – Africa looking for an Electrical Technician with previous experience in production plants (preferably in the food and beverage sector). He will be expected to evaluate, assemble, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.

To be successful as an Electrical Technician, you should be able to read electrical system design plans and recommend improvements, as well as calibrate instruments, and diagnose faulty equipment and repair them.

o Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, or individually

o Strong organizational/prioritization skills

o 5 years industrial maintenance experience in industrial environment preferred

o Good understanding of automation and high tech production lines

o Basic understanding of power systems – Transformers, Generators and Electrical Switching Rooms

o Has a TS or LT in Electricity or Electronics

o Languages: Spoken and Written Level of French is prefered

o Troubleshoot all plant equipment and make repairs to electrical systems

o Must be able to read Electric Diagrams and assemble Electrical Circuits when needed

o Must be able to take charge of all power systems in the plant

o Must be able to perform Corrective Maintenance while applying root cause analyses

o Preventive Maintenance

o Must be able to apply 5S system while maintaining proper hygienic environment

o Other duties as assigned
