Key responsibilities include:

Responsible for all activities related to Cameroon’s Supply Chain from the finished goods after production until the shipment process ending at the invoice stage.

Responsible for warehousing operations, transportation, documentation, planning, and scheduling to allow Cameroon to sell all its finished goods and beans in time and in full, respecting the local regulations according to BC strategies and planning.

Responsible for the export of beans in Cameroon, taking care of the warehousing, customs clearance, and operations for beans shipment as per local strategy.

Within the global Cocoa OSCO strategy linked to the priorities of the region Africa, plan, organize, coordinate, and control all SC operations within Cameroon, in order to meet short and long-term operational objectives while complying with customer requirements, rules, laws, and regulations.

Manage all resources and services necessary to perform all needed operations in SC in the country, providing the correct reports and alignments.

Guarantee the agreed stock levels of Finished goods in the country through good performance in SC, shipping the available finished goods at the lowest time possible.

Have in place all the needed standards and work procedures to control finished goods stocks avoid wrong shipments and stock inventory deviations, managing the team to work accordingly.

Manage all the import operations following country and international legislation according to BC rules performing the necessary controls and checks to avoid the increase in lead time and extra cost due to penalties or deviations. Work closely with other departments to provide the correct visibility.

Be the representative of the BC values and vision in the SC department collaborating with all other departments to succeed in both short and long-term strategies for the region.

Develop a safe, inclusive, and healthy environment where people enjoy working and develop higher levels of performance.

Work on all items related to compliance in terms of local rules and regulations, Barry Callebaut values, and strategies and regulations listed in certifications required to operate.

Distribute and organize responsibilities at the SC level in the country, assessing and providing resources to achieve the expected results

Prepare detailed cost budget & take ownership of budget

Prepare forecast for sales and adhere to forecast planning & optimize SC performance to the maximum with business demand

About You:

Master’s degree in  Engineering, Supply Chain, Administration or related field

Has proven ability to manage SC teams and operations.

Has run Import and export processes and activities

Has technical knowledge/experience in warehousing and transit management also international trade knowledge

Operations tools (Lean, 6Sigma, 5S)

Import and export rules, procedures and international customs requirements and laws.

SAP, Cargoo management system.

Process flow and process control basic skills

Easy to connect to people and communicate to the shop floor team

Ability to set direction and inspire

Flexible in managing matrix organization seeks to use the best use of resources in or outside of his organization

A strong presence on the shop floor

Hands-on

Continuous improvement mindset

Fluent in English and French

Good communicator and listener
