Core Mission

Under dam monitoring, the Land Surveyor -Technician shall carry out monitoring activities and data collection drives for hydroelectric facilities in compliance with norms, standards and the state- of- the- art. He/She shall also carry out land survey operations under maintenance missions and projects that require B.P.D and D.P.D. drawings.

Main Activities and Duties

Implement the campaign schedule to monitor hydroelectric dams and reservoirs;

Collect geotechnical and structural monitoring data from hydroelectric dams and reservoirs ;

Update the database in the dam monitoring portal;

Participate in and support project teams during definition and drawings under the land survey component ;

Support project closure.

Profile Needed

HND in Land Surveys or equivalent certificate ;

Minimum 5-year experience in Geomatics Land Surveying.

Technical Skills

Good mastery of expropriation procedures ;

Good mastery of land tenure procedures;

Mastery of land survey and land registry management;

Good mastery of geomatics;

Knows how to handle Land Survey equipment (total station, level, GPS,levelling staffs, prism, Tripod) ;

Mastery of software such as AUTOCAD, COVADIS, EPANET, etc;

Extensive experience with public contracts.
