Role Responsibilities/ Responsabilités du rôle

The role of the Installation and Commissioning engineer constitutes among others, site survey, carrying out basic tests and implementing test procedures on site equipment before they are installed. This role also entails working freely in a team and overseeing the successful installation of systems, plants and or equipment.

Responsability

Conducts site surveys and ensuring safe working conditions

Ensuring that objectives and deadlines are met according to client’s requirements

Reporting on a daily basis and keeping records of project process.

Providing engineering and technical support to PM/SDM/QSM.

Creating and carrying out test procedures, ensure follow up for maintenance

Analyze project, recognize problems, and draw logical conclusions

Plans network installations by studying customer orders, plans, manuals, and technical specifications

Preparing an installation diagram.

Documents network by labeling and routing equipment and cables; recording configuration diagrams and specifications

Qualifications

He should be at least holder of HND in Computer sciences or Telecom and Network Engineering.

At least 3+ years of relevant industry experience.

Be physically fit and good with hands, with normal colour vision.

Able to work at height and in confined space.
