As the United Nations frontline agency in the fight against hunger, WFP is continually responding to emergencies. WFP Cameroon is currently engaged in a large-scale response to ongoing humanitarian crises, working to reach hundreds of thousands of people affected by violence each month. Concerned about the increasing needs, WFP provides food assistance to displaced and vulnerable communities in an extremely challenging environment where humanitarian operations are hampered by conflict and the risk of attacks on humanitarian workers. In this context, WFP Cameroon aims to rehabilitate and extend its facilities at Country Office (CO) and Field Offices (FO) level in order to guarantee a safe and appropriate working environment for staff. The planned rehabilitation and extension works will involve refurbishment and / or upgrading of the existing electrical systems which requires expertise of an electrical engineer who will be responsible for all the electrical works during all phases of the rehabilitation / construction. In addition, the ‘in-house’ Electrical Engineer will be tasked with repairs and maintenance of the electrical systems at Country Office and Field Offices.
