Role Responsibilities/ Responsabilités du rôle

We are looking for a reliable and seasoned Country Director who will launch MAX in Cameroon while executing strategies to penetrate the entire country. You must be highly analytical, a self-starter, results-oriented and able to thrive in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment. We are committed to and encourage equal opportunity. As Launch Lead, you will be responsible for driving expansion in Ghana. You will be required to define and execute the company’s launch plans across the country.

What You’ll Do:

Leadership & Growth

Work directly with the global executive team to own and deliver growth targets in Cameroon

Set growth goals and budgets, establish strategies for getting there, and build systems to measure success.

Design and implement experiments to catalyze growth

Contribute to and develop product enhancements and improvements for the country

Be a creative thought leader in unlocking new growth channels

Prepare proposals and deliver partnerships with top brands, strategic partners, Governments, and SMEs

Ensure there is effective collaboration between country team and HQ

Create and manage clear internal processes for country team with HQ support

Possess a vision of growth for the country and communicate this vision clearly to the team

Create and implement strategies across the business that maximise customer loyalty, increase retention and maximize revenue.

Brand Building & Partnerships

Be the Company’s No 1 Ambassador

Deliver strategic partnerships

Create a systematic, process-driven approach to growth

Negotiate and deliver targets in line with corporate guidelines and policies

Performance Management

Measure and track key performance metrics

Conduct competitive research and analyze their product, marketing and distribution strategies

Oversee implementation of growth automation, growth analytics

Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends that are relevant to company mission

Oversee implementation of surveys, opinion polls, data collection, and questionnaires to gain deep insight into consumer trends

Team Building

Build a strong team and delegate effectively

Motivate, develop and inspire an enthusiastic team to achieve remarkable results

Implement a systematic 1 on 1 feedback and performance review system

Coach team members to deliver exceptional result


What You’ll Need:

Minimum of 7 years’ experience, with at least 3-5 years in a Growth role

Experience leading projects and aligning business strategy with product delivery

Ability to work in a global context – Previous experience working in high-impact environments is preferred

Proven track record of engagement with C-suite stakeholders

Strong leadership skills; extensive experience in managing and mobilizing cross-functional teams

Past track record of recruiting and developing a high performing team

Passionate about customers and demonstrated experience at building strong relationships

Understand different contexts i.e., work environments, cultures, market changes, customer behaviour etc

Futuristic and visionary with an entrepreneurial mindset, agile and adapts quickly in a fast-paced environment

Data-driven method for decision making using KPIs and metrics
