Role Responsibilities/ Responsabilités du rôle

Overall Responsibility

The role is responsible for ensuring the workforce has the capability (structure, skills & knowledge, culture & mindset) to achieve the business plan.

Align local HR policies, practices and processes to build the workforce ability.

Ensure effectiveness of the global & regional HR systems, processes & policies.

Responsibilities

Employee Relations: Ensure good employee climate, high moral and effective communication. Design a fair system of enforcing work discipline

Training& Development: Deploy management skills based curriculum and leverage on regional / area development approaches and programs

Recruitment: Ensure that up-to-date and effective methods of staff selection are taught and used

Job Evaluation: Ensure that all jobs are regularly updated, reviewed and evaluated to provide internal and external equity in terms of compensation.

Performance Management: Maintain an effective performance management system.

Managing Visas/Employment Contracts: ensure effective management of respective administration.

Support transition arrangements and ensure practice is competitive.

Compensation and Benefits: Plan and implement recognition and incentive programs with Area office support. Manage annual salary review processes with Area Office support.

Coordinate the Annual Employee Opinion survey to measure staff morale and organization climate, then develop and implement effective strategies and action plans to improve target areas determined.

Implement effective strategies for developing the organizational culture in relation to the vision and values.

Manage change, particularly to structure in a positive and supportive manner

HR Diploma or Degree

Minimum 2-5 years experience in HR.

Strong customer orientation and commercial skills

Negotiation and interpersonal skills

Building and Managing Teams

Commitment to excel

Analytical, organizational and motivational skills

People Management skills / Proven track record of managing a large team

Ability to think and act at a strategic level
