Our Assembly, Repair and Maintenance (AMO) Team is assembling and testing the latest products and equipment in drilling services. We collaborate with our service delivery teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, geoscience, to develop innovative best tools.

Partner with the best

As a ARMO Technician, you will troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble and perform the visual inspection of mechanical assemblies. Whilst assisting in repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment, you will perform complex and difficult tests with minimal instruction. You will provide technical support across the business whilst complying with HS&E policies.

As an ARMO Tech – Electro Mech III, you will be responsible for:

Troubleshooting, testing, assembling, disassembling and perform visual inspection of electro-mechanical assemblies.

Assisting in reworking, repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment.

Performing complex and difficult tests with minimal instruction and documentation.

Analyzing and interpreting data from environmental tests and troubleshoot equipment problems.

Providing technical support to other groups and co-workers. Provides coaching to other technicians in areas of proven competence.

Inspecting and dispositioning of parts and equipment. Compliance with HS&E policies and procedures.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a Technical diploma or Associates degree in Electrical or Mechanical field

Have basic level of analytical ability to find solutions to difficult technical problems

Be able to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists and follow formal procedures and maintenance practices.

Be versed in fluid power technology, AC/DC circuits and electro-mechanical devices. Proficient in the use of oscilloscopes.

Have at least 3 years maintenance related experience in electro-mechanical function

Have a minimum of 3 years relevant industrial experience (airline, military, oilfield, automotive, electronic)
