Duties

Incumbent has primary responsibility for the processing of Diversity Immigrant Visas. Incumbent also works with immigrant visa cases, including asylees and refugees. Receives, assembles, and manages files, as well as contacts applicants, and maintains the DV appointment calendar; conducts initial screening of applicants, ensuring the file is complete before adjudicating; closely monitors DV regulations and changes in procedure, and prepares all official correspondence related to Diversity Visa processing.

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE: At least two years of clerical or administrative experience is required.

Education Requirements:

Completion of High School required.

Evaluations:

LANGUAGE: Fluent in Speaking/Reading/Writing of English and Good working knowledge Speaking/Reading/Writing of French are required. This may be tested.
