Role Responsibilities/ Responsabilités du rôle

Core Mission

The Design Engineer – Civil Engineering produces engineering design* documents (Preliminary Design Report, Detailed Project Report, Construction Design)for the Civil Engineering Components of projects to develop distribution networks as well as provides technical support for Civil Engineering issues.

*Engineering designs for electricity distribution network projects (power lines & substations) are mainly based on the various branches pf civil engineering (topography & cartography, reinforced concrete, mechanical calculations of linear structures , geotechnical,etc).

Main Activities and Duties

Produce preliminary and detailed designs of CE facilities for distribution sub-stations;

Monitor Technical Constructions Drawings for CE facilities of distribution sub-stations and generation facilities;

Implement the process to create a project database;

Update the cost/benefit analysis for the various projects to be carried out;

Draft Tender Documents relating to the CE components of distribution sub-stations and generation facilities;

Produce architectural designs for building projects together with the architect;

Monitor topographical studies;

Schedule the production of drawings for electrical and CE facilities;

Your Profile

Design engineer with Master’s in Civil Engineering;

At least 2 years of experience in designing civil engineering structures.

Technical Skills

Have proper mastery of Civil Engineering methods, tools and standards;

Have perfect mastery of Structural Calculations;

Master facilities for electricity generation, transmission and distribution facilities;

Have proper mastery of specifications drafting;

Have proper mastery of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project) ;

Have an excellent mastery of REVIT, AUTOCAD, ROBOT STRUCTURAL ;

Have some mastery of COVADIS software;

Have proper mastery of HSE norms.
