Role Responsibilities/ Responsabilités du rôle

We are looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead the Rushour Hospitality project. You will deliver high-quality menus and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate has a passion for food and beverage, a genuine ability to connect with guests and staff alike, and brings the core value of ‘TEAM’ to the restaurant. To be successful in this role, you’ll need management skills and experience in both the front and back of the house. Experience in Akwa, Bonanjo, Bonapriso Bali areas.


Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations

Develop menus; African, European, Asian, American menus

Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction

Regularly review product quality and research new vendors

Develops and implements special promotions and employee incentives.

Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils, and cleaning products

Conducting regular inspections of the restaurant kitchen to determine whether proper standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained in compliance with sanitation and safety regulations

Control operational costs; Work within budgeted guidelines in relation to Food, Liquor Costs, and Payroll and identify measures to cut waste

Develops and implements strategies to achieve revenue and profit goals

Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses

Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events

Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)

Recruit, train new and current employees on proper customer service practices

Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations

Willingness to work during all weekends, and some holidays.


Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager, or similar role

Proven customer service experience as a manager

Extensive food and beverage knowledge, with the ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait for staff


At least 2 years of full-service restaurant management in Douala

High School Diploma or Bachelor’s degree required

Specialized training in food and beverage service required

Excellent interpersonal skills are a must
