Role Responsibilities/ Responsabilités du rôle

ROLE:

Reporting directly to the General Manager of the Cameroon cluster (and functionally to the Regional HRD), your main mission is to manage the HR policy of the Cameroon cluster.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Apply the human resources management policy set by the Management

Propose to the general management all actions of simplification and/or HR innovation

Identify and analyze recruitment needs (internal and external)

Ensure the follow-up and update of the personnel job descriptions

Assist the directors of the daughter agencies in the follow-up in terms of HR management

Ensure the follow-up and compliance of the cluster’s salaries

Coordinate with business managers or department heads in setting objectives, annual staff appraisals and career and succession plans

Rigorously monitor the updating of HR data and indicators to support decision-making (social dashboard, C&ME).

Prepare and submit on a semi-annual basis, the HR reporting “Headcount” to the HR department of HO and to the Finance Department of the agency.

Ensure compliance with legal obligations in terms of labor law and in accordance with the establishment agreements in force

Ensure the follow-up and maintenance of relations with state partners (CNSS, labor inspection, IPRES etc.)

Develop and have the annual staff training plan validated by the General Management and the professional training support organizations and implement it

Anticipate and manage individual and collective conflicts

Ensure the follow-up and maintenance of relations with social partners (trade union, staff representatives, etc.)

Implement current labor legislation and participate in meetings between staff representatives and General Management.

Coordinate legal activities in collaboration with the lawyer in charge

Ensure the maintenance of a healthy and conducive work environment in collaboration with the QSSE department

Supervise and follow up on actions related to sustainable development (the 3 pillars Acting for People, Planet & Fair Trade)

Anticipate and coordinate activities related to general services

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :

5 years of higher education in human resources management

At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position

Good knowledge of computerized management tools (MS Office and SAGE PAIE)

Good knowledge of the legislative texts and taxation of Benin and the cluster countries

Ability to listen, observe and be discreet

Ability to work under stress

Rigor, organization, proactivity, self-control, punctuality, interpersonal skills, communication and influence

Negotiation skills

Fluent English
