PRODUCTION SUPERVISORS

Location: Accra

Industry: Manufacturing

Job Type: Full time

Reports: Production Manager

Scope

The Production Supervisors will primarily ensure the smooth running of processes on a production floor, oversee routine production activities, report and solve issues that arise on a production floor and ensure a safe and clean production workspace.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure that production processes are in line with company and regulatory requirements

Accurately complete all necessary documentation for regulatory compliance

Inform all production team of all occupational health and safety practices

Communicate expectations & production targets to team members and evaluating their performance.

Establish daily٫ weekly and monthly objectives and communicate them to employees

Manage the workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules

Guide and coach employees٫ monitoring their productivity

Oversee safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance

Regularly check production machinery and checkpoints to ensure safe and efficient workflow

Compile reports about production and provide management with updates

Ensure faulty production equipment are repaired or replaced

Ensure all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or in relevant subjects.

Minimum 3 years’ experience of working on a Production Supervisor or other similar position

Profound experience in using various types of garment manufacturing machinery and tools is preferred.

Good practical experience with MS Office

Strong organizational and leadership skills٫ together with a results-driven approach

Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills

Must be self-motivated and possess strong problem-solving skills

Good time management skills

Must be proactive and ability to take initiative.
