Senior Business Development Manager, Accra, ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC

Role Responsibilities/ Responsabilités du rôle

Job purpose:

The Business Development Senior Manager will be responsible to drive profitable growth of the country via building strong relationships with key stakeholders in order to attain EPCs’ sales targets and growing Elsewedy Electric Business.

Key Accountabilities:

Meets Sales’ targets for the Contracting/EPC business segments in accordance with the overall policies and objectives.

Monitors pipeline activities and accounts’ opportunities & wins and losses to develop growth strategies an action plans.

Builds sales pipeline via customer visits, site visits, training, sales presentations.

Analyzes opportunities, acts upon them, creates and maintains funnel of opportunities commensurate with growth ambition of the company and communicate those to senior management.

Obtains quotation requests from customers in assigned market(s).

Develops and implements sales and business development strategies for profitable revenue growth in the assigned market.

Secures amount and type of orders from assigned market(s) to meet sales budget and needs of the business.

Works closely with the business development team to explore new business opportunities in terms of diversification of products, processes, and business sectors as well as to ensure continuity of business opportunities with existing customers.

Contacts and qualifies new and potential customers and identifies their needs and gives formal and informal presentations.

Communicates regularly and consistently with the Sales Director on all quotation activity and status.

Builds and maintains relationship with the key vendors who are critical for the long-term success of the business.

Reviews various sales reports and sales activity reports.

Creates added value for the customer and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques.

Creates a customer service culture, demonstrating excellent customer service, and proactively seeking opportunities to make lasting relationship with customers.

Represent Elsewedy Electric at targeted trade shows and industry events based on the General Manager recommendations.

Regional Sales Director

Qualifications & Education:

Bachelor’s degree in any relevant discipline, MBA is plus

Minimum 10 years of solid experience in Sales or business development functions for Contracting /EPC business segments.

Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level

Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Excellent listening and negotiating abilities combined with the aptitude to run high value sales strategies

Excellent organizations skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, ERP/CRM related tool

Professional Proficiency in English
