Role Responsibilities/ Responsabilités du rôle

Purpose of the job:

To provide business leadership in our foreign branch and to develop and expand market opportunities for the company, to increase profitability, operational efficiency and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and creative individual who welcomes the challenges of acquiring and developing new business through sales efforts.

Responsibilities

Ø Generate sales leads and promote business growth

Ø Coordinate sales services to ensure timely service and delivery to clients

Ø Be an active member of the business team and provide leadership

Ø Coordinate with sales teams to develop mutually beneficial proposals for our existing and new clients

Ø Perform market research to identify new opportunities and engage with executives to establish strategies for pursuing those new opportunities

Ø Assist and motivate sales team to prospect and gain new clients

Ø Develop and maintain client relationships

Ø Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders

Ø Gather useful information from customer and competitor data

Ø Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives

Ø Receive current and new client orders and transmit to appropriate internal service for processing

Ø Keep regular communication with clients on the processing of their requests for updates.

Ø Perform market research to identify new opportunities and engage with executives to establish strategies for pursuing those new opportunities

Ø Attend industry conferences

Ø Represents our business professionally

Key Challenges:

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Logistics or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience
  • Sound knowledge in Transport and Logistics
  • Knowledge in project management.
  • Knowledge in international business will be added advantage
  • Self-motivated individual with good organizational/planning skills.
  • Willingness to learn and acquire new skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills (English and French).
  • Adaptability
  • Negotiation skills
  • Interpersonal skill
