TINA Education publishing house is seeking a Business Development intern- who is outgoing, commercially astute, capable of leading commercial initiatives and creating high value networks with an understanding of the educational and book publishing systems in Cameroon. TINA Education is a publisher of educative books for adults and children across all levels of Education.

Core Role: To assist in establishing business links between partners and coordinating business related activities that are geared at identifying, creating and developing new business opportunities and partnerships.


  • Collaborate with the Business Development Officer in coordinating all business development strategies for TINA book projects
  • Plan, organize, implement and evaluate business growth strategies for TINA Education and TC Print
  • Identify and engage potential stakeholders for future collaboration and partnership to grow the potentials of the publishing house
  • Participate in meetings to report business prospect and status updates to TINA management
  • Conduct market competitive analysis to develop roadmap and sales strategy for TINA books and products
  • Collaborate with management team to develop innovative business models for impact creation and greater outreach of TINA books
  • Research on market trends and development in the book publishing sector
  • Monitoring of the business environment to forecast new opportunities and possible challenges
  • Propose a set of objectives, goals and targets for growth of the publishing house


  • Degree in Business, Management or related field
  • In addition, experience in sales and marketing will be preferred for this role
  • Previous experience in business development or related role
  • Must be a self-managing and an original thinker with the ability to learn/research and enthuse about specific areas of academic interest;
  • Must be able to define and maintain confidentiality of technical developments and commercial information
  • Prioritizing and multitasking
